This course is designed to introduce people to the tasks required to maintain a PI system and support the technical needs of the users.

On completion delegates will be able to:

• Understand the PI System Architecture
• Understand how data flows into PI
• Use the PI System Management Tools (SMT3 and Tag Configurator)
• Build tags on the PI Server
• Manipulate and maintain PI archives
• Understand the process of backing up and restoring PI
• Configure security within PI
• Configure PI interfaces
• Configure standard PI Monitor tags
• Troubleshoot a PI system

This is a hands-on course with practical workshop exercises.

Course duration is 2 days and costs £795 per person.

Who should attend?

Anyone who will have the responsibility of the upkeep of the PI system.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have knowledge of Windows-based computer systems and would usually have attended a PI Client Applications course.
