Our policy is a reflection of the quality requirements that must be delivered by our quality system and implemented within the project environment. Our quality policy is deliberately aimed at meeting the client's perspective of quality as measured by the project deliverables.
Capula operates to a Quality Management System (QMS) that complies and conforms with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 and the guidelines for the application of ISO 9001 to the development, supply and maintenance of software ISO 90003.
The Capula Quality Management System is developed and maintained to provide a framework and support for all company activities in achieving the stated policy. This is of particular importance when working to client-specific requirements'.
The key objective of the Capula Quality Management System is to support the adoption of best practices and methods by the business in providing solutions for clients that satisfy the quality policy; the focus being on improvement and implementation of better practices.
The company has been third party assessed by AFAQ-EAQA and certified as complying with the following:
- ISO 9001:2008 - Quality Management Systems (across all Capula activities)
- ISO 9001:2008 plus TickIT - Guidelines for application of ISO 9001:2008 to computer software (across all Capula activities at Stone HQ & our Whitehaven Centre of Nuclear Excellence)
- ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental Management Systems (across all Capula activities)
- OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Requirements Standard
Surveillance assessments are completed every nine months. Original date of issue of certificate is 1992.
Capula operates an Environmental Management System (EMS) that has been assessed and certified and is integrated with QMS.
