Capula secures GlaxoSmithKline as new customer

Capula, an IT Services and Solutions company, have been awarded an order by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for a Materials Verification System.
The project (valued at £400k) is to install a new system for the Materials Handling Facility at GSK Ware. The new system will be developed in accordance with 'GAMP4' guidelines and be compliant with FDA ruling 21CFR (Part 11) and validated in accordance with FDA and MCA requirements.
The main aspects of the system will be to provide workstations, interface directly to the plant or local PLC to track all material moves or processing, interface to the trolley systems to inhibit any unauthorised moves, provide a secure repository for the GMP critical data and maintain the integrity of the data in the event of plant operation failure.
