Capula signs landmark agreement with ICS Triplex
25 Nov 2010
We are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with ICS Triplex to supply and integrate their Trusted and ICS AADvance safety system controller products. Having previously delivered the ICS Trusted safety system at Drax power station on units 4, 5 & 6, Capula are the first UK system integrator to sign this agreement.
The new AADvance product is a truly distributed, scaleable architecture which comprises of both a hardware controller and a software environment, allowing the user to specify the level of reliability and availability they need throughout their plant. AADvance offers a high level of flexibility from small quantity I/O to large systems; non-safety to SIL 3, and fail-safe to multiple fault tolerant.
"As the first system integrator in the UK to sign an agreement with ICS Triplex for these products, this speaks highly of Capula's reputation in the industry," commented Capula Chief Executive Roger Turner, "and we look forward to delivering the new AADvance system in future projects."
