Senior appointments at Capula

Capula is pleased to announce two significant internal promotions in the Delivery side of the company's operations.

Dave Kirby (pictured left) has been appointed Programme Director for our business with Thames Water, making him responsible via a number of Project Managers for all the contracts that the company undertakes for this key client. Having spent the last six years overseeing delivery operations across several of Capula's markets, Dave is well placed to take up this role, ensuring the continuity of our high standards in this area.

Meanwhile, Chris Podmore (right) has been promoted to the position of Programme Manager for Power & Renewables, in which he will have responsibility for all contracts in this sector. Chris has been the Project Manager of some of the company’s largest contracts, and at Drax Power Station he and his team have built a very strong client relationship based upon successfully delivering a number of very complex systems.

"2010 has been an excellent year for Capula, and as our business moves forward it is important to have the right people in place to deliver on the contracts secured by our Business Development team," explained Chief Executive Roger Turner (pictured centre), "As a reflection of their fine work on numerous large, complex projects, Dave & Chris fully deserve their promotions and we wish them every success in their new roles."
