Stone based advanced automation and real-time business intelligence provider Capula, made a £2,386 donation to the Mayor of Stafford's Charity - Counselling Suite at Mid-Staffordshire General Hospital's NHS Trust Breast Care Unit” and the " Oak Tree Farm Rural Project" (Hilderstone, Staffordshire), which provides training support for adults with learning difficulties in a rural environment.
The cheque was presented to the Mayor by Capula's Chief Executive Officer, Roger Turner, on Tuesday 22nd April at Capula's Head Office – Orion House, Stone Business Park, Stone Staffordshire ST15 0LT at 11.00am.
The money was raised through a Charity raffle, which was part of Capula's end of year celebratory dinner, held to celebrate Capula's success in 2007, which proved to be a record-breaking year. The raffle raised £1,193, which the company then matched, making a total donation of £2,386. This is the second time that the Directors and staff at Capula have made such a donation, last year's event raised £,1700 for the then Mayor of Stafford's Charity - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
