Capula, the UK's leading advanced automation and real-time business intelligence company to the nuclear, power generation and utility industries has appointed Nick Temple, the former Chief Executive of IBM UK, as its new Chairman. Capula was the subject of a £30 million buyout backed by Dunedin in August 2006.
Roger Turner, Chief Executive of Capula, commented: “Since the secondary buy-out from Bridgepoint six months ago, Dunedin has proved to be a supportive investor. The appointment of Nick as Chairman demonstrates Dunedin's and Capula's determination to grow the business.
The skills he brings will undoubtedly help us to improve business performance and look at the growth strategy with a fresh perspective.”
Nick Temple added: “Capula is a great business with many blue chip customers, and is renowned for its innovation, product delivery, quality and safety. Like any business there are opportunities to develop further its product offering and growth prospects. It is my intention to work closely with the management team to see how we can make it a world class business.”
