Successful Quality Re-certification

We are pleased to announce that Capula has gained successful re-certification through independent industry assessment.
Whilst we maintain an on-going process of interim assessments, every few years we undergo a full and stringent assessment of our key quality processes by AFAQ-EAQA, an independent assessor and part of the AFNOR Groupe. The following accreditations have been renewed:
- ISO 9001:2008 - Quality Management Systems (across all Capula activities)
- ISO 9001:2008 plus TickIT - Guidelines for application of ISO 9001:2008 to computer software (across all Capula activities at Stone HQ & our Whitehaven Centre of Nuclear Excellence)
- ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental Management Systems (across all Capula activities)
- OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Requirements Standard
"Capula was assessed thoroughly covering all company activities in all areas as part of this process from company structure to operational processes and the standard of workmanship," said Bruce Sherratt, Capula's QHSE Manager and Security Controller, "Having held these accreditations for almost twenty years, this re-certification reflects the continued effectiveness of our work systems and quality of our people - who were commented on by the lead assessor to be highly competent - and further demonstrates how we, as a company, are well-qualified to deliver high standards to our clients."
