Data View - Layered Applications for PI
Capula has developed the Data View suite of products, which provides a framework for the delivery of a complete data capture, storage and display system. Data View provides an interface that monitors thousands of network measurement points, both analogue and digital, and stores these values in real time in the PI system. It provides a hierarchical view of the measurement points combining both geographical and business information. It allows manipulation of the process data through grouping of individual measurement points that enables the derivation of total or partial network loading and performance. Capula has developed three Data View variants:
- ELIS, the Electrical Loads Information System
- WADIS, the Water Distribution Information System
- COMPASS, the Gas Compressor and Archive Analysis System
Each system provides a set of industry specific reports and calculations that are invaluable to the utility engineer to assist in understanding historical loads, demands and asset utilisation, enabling informed decisions and strategies.
