This course is for students who are already familiar with PI - ProcessBook and wish to explore the programming capabilities. This hands-on course allows students with limited VBA experience to develop useful applications quickly using a limited subset of the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications language. Part of the class involves using Visual Basic, but we do not teach the full use of VB.

On completion delegates will be able to:

• Understand the ProcessBook object hierarchy
• Manipulate ProcessBook objects using VBA
• Use PI-ProcessBooks with other applications, particularly Excel
• Develop PI-ProcessBook add-ins
• Use the PI-API
• Incorporate third party Active-X components into ProcessBook

This is a 2 day course and costs £795 per person.

Anyone who would like to customise PI-ProcessBook to meet specific business needs.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have a knowledge of a programming language, preferably Microsoft Visual Basic, and have attended the PI Client applications course for ProcessBook and DataLink.
