PI RtWebParts User and Administration (CBV11)

This course will enable users to create their own portal web pages using RtWebParts. You will learn how to retrieve data from different sources and present that data in the most efficient way. You will also learn how to manage your RtWebParts installation.

On completion delegates will be able to:

• Insert and use RtWebParts in a SharePoint web part page
• Configure RtBaseline Data Source and RtBaseline Data Sets
• Connect web parts together for interaction
• Use OSIsoft smart clients from RtWebParts
• Use RtTable template
• Configure security for RtWebParts
• Install, monitor and troubleshoot RtWebParts
• Use PI ProcessBook native *.PDI files in the RtActiveView web part

This is a 1 day course and costs £395 per person.

Who should attend?

This course is for the person who wants to deploy RtWebParts on a SharePoint server and create/manage SharePoint web part pages, which includes RtWebParts. This is sometimes the PI System Manager, but more often an IT professional or systems integrator.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have working knowledge of Windows 2003 and experience with SharePoint and the OSI clients ProcessBook and Datalink.
