Capula sponsors local football team - St.Bees

Leading advanced automation and real-time business intelligence company, Capula , who's Nuclear Centre of Excellence is based in the Innovation Centre at the Westlakes Science and Technology Park has demonstrated its commitment to the local community by sponsoring the team strip for St Bees Football Club.

Fraser Kennedy, a regular player for St Bees, who is a Software Engineer at Capula, approached the Directors to see if they were interested in sponsoring the team and was pleasantly surprised when they said yes. Speaking about the sponsorship, Business Development Director, Simon Coombs, said, “As a company we are committed to supporting the local communities that are situated around our business activities, so when Fraser approached us we felt this was an ideal opportunity to do exactly that. We have had an office in Cumbria, supporting our growing nuclear business activities, since the beginning of 2000 and have be en actively involved in supporting the local community since then.”
