Capula lands contract with VT Communications

Capula Limited has been awarded a contract by VT Communications for the replacement of their current Broadcast Control System at Woofferton in Ludlow.

VT communications is a major support services company that delivers projects in defence and broadcasting around the world. It owns and operates a global broadcasting infrastructure, transmitting over 1,000 hours of short and medium wave broadcasts every day.

As part of this global infrastructure, VT Communications continually assess and upgrade their site-wide systems, ensuring they meet operational needs, and as a result submitted and enquiry for companies to tender. Consequently, Capula was chosen as the preferred supplier to replace the system.

Commenting on the success of the contract, Director of Business Development at Capula, Simon Coombs said:

“We are delighted to have been awarded this contract and look forward to working closely with VT Communications. Having previously worked with the BBC World Service, I believe key factors in VT Communications decision to use Capula include our flexible approach, competitive price and focus on delivering this project as a partnership agreement.

The project is a major win for Capula and highlights our ability to understand and propose effective solutions as well as the importance of building strong working relationships and of course successfully delivering on time, to budget and to specification.”
