Capula to provide Yorkshire Water data solution
We are pleased to announce that Capula and its partner organisation OSI Inc. have been selected by Yorkshire Water to design and implement a modern, scaleable and maintainable alternative to their existing solution for data storage, retrieval and analysis.
As one of the ten largest water facilities in the World, Yorkshire Water has identified the need for high quality operational information to help it improve business performance. Their current information solutions are complex to maintain with limitations in collecting and analysing real-time data, and therefore face limitations on its future sustainability.
The Capula solution will provide Yorkshire Water with a better understanding of its assets and operations, and enable the company to monitor any asset in real time, thus delivering 'one version of the truth'.
This will translate into numerous benefits for Yorkshire Water, including the annual reduction of energy consumption, improved process and asset optimisation through better-informed management, and the subsequent reduction of greenhouse emissions.
"To have been selected for such a project is further evidence of Capula's expertise and authority in our field," said Chief Executive Roger Turner, "and we are looking forward to working closely with Yorkshire Water to help transform their access to operational information."
