Corporate Social Responsibility
Capula takes its obligations to society including customers, employees, local communities and suppliers, very seriously. We are committed to behaving ethically and to balancing economic, environmental and social objectives.
Capula aims to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate and we regularly support various charity and local community events. We are proud to have contributed to several recent fund-raising initiatives including a relief effort for those affected by the flooding in North West England, and raising much-needed funds for charities including Macmillan Cancer Support and WaterAid.
A team of Capula colleagues recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in support the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, and succeeded in raising more than £14,000.
Our employees regularly support educational programmes in the community to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects to young learners. This helps raise the profile of STEM subjects and may inspire young people to consider engineering as a future career choice.

Our recent CSR involvement:
Reducing our Carbon Footprint
As part of the Imtech group, one of our key objectives is to continuously reduce the average carbon footprint used by each employee and in 2016 we achieved a 10% reduction, our highest ever.
We believe that educating employees by demonstrating ways in which they can help reduce energy use will achieve a continuous reduction in our overall carbon footprint.
Campaigns were implemented to encourage employees to switch off lights, computers and printers in the office, utilise virtual meetings and implement more efficient driving techniques.
