Summary of the Role:
We currently have vacancies for Graduate Engineers in Control/Automation/Systems Engineering and Software Engineering. The successful candidates will be joining teams engaged upon delivery of market-leading systems for large-scale business-critical Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) & IT applications.
Graduates will be trained in all aspects of the systems development lifecycle: specification, design, programming, testing, documentation and commissioning. You will also receive training in relevant specific PLC and SCADA, software as required.
Requirements (Ideal or Preferred):
- Control & Automation: graduates with some PLC experience would be welcome– the package used is not important so long as exposure to and some use of the concepts of PLC coding have been practiced, perhaps as part of your course and/or as part of an industrial placement/internship. Full training in the specific PLC packages used on projects at Capula will be provided.
- SCADA: any experience/exposure to SCADA packages would be desirable. Full training in specific SCADA packages will be provided.
- Software Engineering: experience in software programming/coding.
Please note that willingness to travel to customer sites throughout the UK is required on occasions according to project demands. Therefore, a full driving licence will be required and if you don’t currently have this, then working towards that would be expected.
