This course is designed to introduce people to the tasks required to maintain a PI system and support the technical needs of the users.
On completion delegates will be able to:
- Understand the PI System Architecture
- Understand how data flows into the PI System
- Use the PI System Management Tools (SMT3 and Tag Configurator)
- Build tags on the PI Server
- Manipulate and maintain PI System archives
- Understand the process of backing up and restoring the PI System
- Configure security within the PI System
- Configure PI System interfaces
- Configure standard PI Monitor tags
- Troubleshoot a PI System
This is a hands-on course with practical workshop exercises.
Who should attend?
Anyone who will have the responsibility of the upkeep of the PI System.
Prerequisites
Delegates should have knowledge of Windows-based computer systems and would usually have attended a PI System Client Applications course.
