This course enables users of PI ProcessBook and PI DataLink to create complex displays and Microsoft Excel reports for company-wide use.

On completion delegates will be able to:

• Create and organise PI ProcessBook entries
• Use PI ProcessBook to launch displays, trends, reports etc
• Build PI ProcessBook displays and animated plant 'mimics'
• View historical data within Microsoft Excel using PI DataLink
• Retrieve tag attributes and arrays of values from the archives
• Retrieve arrays of calculated values
• Filter data
• Perform custom calculations using PI Performance Equation syntax

This is a hands-on course with practical workshop exercises.

Who should attend?

Anyone who will be using the PI System to view or create PI ProcessBook displays or use PI DataLink to extract and manipulate PI System data.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have experience of using Windows-based software packages and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
