Capula, part of the Imtech Group, will be supporting several charity events over the next few weeks such as SSE’s 100 kilometre walking challenge in the Yorkshire Dates in support of Martin House Children’s Hospice in West Yorkshire on 8th and 9th June. Capula is sponsoring a 10 kilometre section of the route and is pleased to support SSE who are raising funds for this charity that provides family led care for children with life shortening conditions. Another charity walk that Capula will be supporting and one of our engineers, Chris Cheshire, based at Capula’s Head Office will be joining is being held on 30th July around the Shropshire area. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the charity, Group B Strep Support who promote awareness of the infection Group B Strep, the most common cause of life-threatening infection affecting newborn babies. More exciting fundraising events are in the pipeline over the next few weeks including an ‘It’s a knockout’ activity morning, a clay pigeon shooting day, Race for Life event and a ‘bear grill’ burger eating challenge. More details will follow soon – good luck to those involved!
