A Capula speaker will deliver a presentation at partner organisation COPA-DATA’s zenon Energy Day conference that will take place at Microsoft’s UK headquarters on Tuesday 24th April.
Chris Dormer, Key Account Manager at Capula will demonstrate how Capula’s IMPERIUM solution, which is extensively deployed on critical assets at National Grid substations nationally, is helping to address significant challenges faced by the client. The technology was recently recognised at the UK Energy Innovation Awards 2017 where it was awarded the Best Innovation Contributing to Quality & Reliability of Electricity Supply.
IMPERIUM has the powerful capability to reduce electrical outages to just a few hours rather than the days or weeks typically associated with substation upgrade or maintenance projects. It combines four essential elements; a unique database structure developed over twenty five years by Capula engineers, the unique capabilities of a portable control unit, together with COTS technologies incorporating COPA-DATA’s zenon software.
Mark Hardy, Managing Director said, “Our collaboration with COPA-DATA allows us to address modern energy challenges and helps drive through the best value for energy customers.”
The conference aims to bring together energy industry experts and provides a platform to discuss current challenges that the industry is facing. If you would like more information about this event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
